Position Overview
The Regional People & Culture Coordinator supports day-to-day People & Culture operations across Idia & South Africa. This role ensures seamless employee experience through efficient onboarding, offboarding, leave administration, reporting, engagement, and HR administrative support. The coordinator serves as a key partner to the global People & Culture team, ensuring consistent, timely, and high-quality support aligned with company values and regional compliance requirements.
What You’ll Do
Onboarding & Offboarding
· Coordinate end-to-end onboarding for new hires, including Day 1 orientation, system setup, and welcome communications.
· Partner with hiring managers, IT, and payroll to ensure all pre-hire logistics are completed.
· Maintain onboarding checklists, new hire documentation, and orientation materials for assigned regions.
· Support offboarding activities including exit notifications, coordination with IT for system deactivation, and completion of exit interviews.
· Track and report on completion of offboarding steps and provide summary data to HR leadership.
· Track and summarize exit feedback for review by regional HR leaders.
Leave Administration & Reporting
· Support administration of employee leaves including FMLA, state/regional-specific leaves, and company-provided leaves, ensuring compliance with regional employment law.
· Partner with the third-party leave administrator (e.g., FMLA Source) to ensure timely communication and accurate tracking of employee leave cases.
· Maintain up-to-date leave tracking and ensure managers and payroll are informed of return-to-work dates.
· Assist with required leave-related documentation and reporting.
HR Administration
· Manage the regional HR inbox, triaging and responding to employee inquiries promptly and professionally.
· Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in HR systems ensuring data integrity and privacy compliance across systems (Paylocity, ServiceNow, etc.).
· Process employment verifications and assist with audits or compliance checks.
· Ensure completion of all required HR forms and documentation for assigned regions.
Employee Engagement
· Partner with the global People & Culture team to coordinate regional engagement events, wellness activities, and recognition programs.
· Track employee participation and support logistics for surveys, focus groups, and engagement campaigns.
· Help maintain calendars, communications, and post-event summaries to measure impact and participation.
General Support
· Provide administrative and logistical support for People & Culture projects and policy rollouts.
· Assist in preparing presentations, communications, and materials for leadership meetings or HR updates.
· Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with company standards and local employment laws.
What You Bring
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· 2–4 years of progressive experience in People & Culture or Human Resources, with strong knowledge of India & South Africa employment practices and familiarity with India & South Africa operations preferred.
· Experience supporting FMLA and other leave programs required.
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong attention to detail, upholding strict confidentiality and ethical standards in handling employee data and communication, and high level of organizational skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficiency in HR systems (e.g., Paylocity, ServiceNow) and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.
· Collaborative and team-oriented mindset with a commitment to employee engagement and inclusion.
