Position Overview 

The Marketing Operations Manager leads the systems, data, processes, and team that enable Marketing to operate as a scalable, high-performing organization. This role owns marketing technology, lead and deal management, data governance, performance reporting, workflow automation, and campaign infrastructure. 

The manager partners closely with Marketing, Sales, and other business functions to improve operational efficiency, strengthen visibility into performance, and ensure leads and campaigns are effectively managed from initial engagement through pipeline. This role will also program manage key cross-functional initiatives, including the integration of acquired brands.

What You’ll Do

  •  Lead and develop the marketing operations team responsible for website support, account research, campaign support, while establishing clear priorities, processes, quality standards, and performance expectations. 
  • Own and scale the marketing operations ecosystem, serving as the primary administrator for HubSpot CRM and HubSpot Marketing Hub architecture, workflows, properties, lifecycle stages, lead scoring, automation, and integrations. 
  • Manage the marketing technology stack, including HubSpot, Apollo, ZoomInfo, website forms, analytics platforms, and related vendors, with responsibility for administration, integration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. 
  • Build and optimize campaign infrastructure, including forms, lists, segmentation, workflows, nurture programs, and lifecycle-based communication journeys. 
  • Establish and maintain data governance and hygiene standards across contacts, companies, leads, deals, campaigns, and sources, including enrichment, deduplication, validation, synchronization, routing, and lifecycle management. 
  • Own and continuously improve lead routing, scoring, assignment, qualification, and follow-up processes across inbound, events, paid media, and other demand sources. 
  • Develop dashboards, attribution models, UTM standards, campaign structures, and reporting frameworks that measure campaign performance, funnel conversion, pipeline contribution, and marketing effectiveness. 
  • Implement scalable automation and practical AI-enabled workflows to improve data acquisition, enrichment, campaign execution, reporting, analysis, and optimization, while maintaining process documentation, playbooks, and training materials.

 What You Bring

  •  7-10 years of experience in marketing operations, revenue operations or a related field. 
  • Previous experience leading or managing a team. 
  • Deep, hands-on HubSpot expertise, including workflows, custom properties, list segmentation, lifecycle stages, lead scoring, reporting, automation, and CRM integrations. 
  • HubSpot certification is strongly preferred. 
  • Experience managing marketing and CRM data, dashboards, integrations, campaign tracking, and system-driven processes with a high degree of accuracy. 
  • Strong understanding of lead management, marketing attribution, pipeline reporting, data governance, and sales and marketing processes. 
  • Ability to translate business requirements into practical operational improvements and execution plans. 
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools for workflow development, data analysis, content support, process documentation, and operational efficiency. 
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience creating documentation, playbooks, and training materials.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with a pragmatic approach, strong bias for action, and the ability to build and standardize processes as the organization grows.
