Position Overview  

The Client Intake Analyst is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and processing new client and matter intake requests to ensure compliance with firm policies, quality standards, and established turnaround expectations. This role works closely with attorneys, conflicts teams, and internal stakeholders to resolve incomplete information, facilitate the client and matter review process, and maintain accurate data within firm systems. 

The successful candidate will possess strong legal knowledge, exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Review and process new client and matter intake forms for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with firm policies and procedures. 

  • Analyze intake information to identify missing, incomplete, or inconsistent data while meeting established service-level expectations. 

  • Communicate effectively with attorneys and internal stakeholders to obtain required information and resolve intake-related issues. 

  • Collaborate with legal and business teams to ensure timely completion of the client and matter onboarding process. 

  • Submit client and matter information through the firm's review and approval workflow. 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and matter records within firm systems and databases. 

  • Apply sound judgment and analytical thinking when evaluating intake requests and identifying potential concerns. 

  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. 

  • Support additional business intake and operational initiatives as assigned. 

What You Bring 

  • Law degree required (LL.B., J.D., or equivalent legal qualification). 

  • Minimum two (2) years of litigation experience or three (3) years of conflicts analyst experience within a law firm or professional services environment. 

  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, law firm operations, and client/matter intake processes. 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. 

  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyze information, identify inconsistencies, and make sound decisions. 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys and internal stakeholders. 

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. 

  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
