Position Overview

The Azure Cloud Engineer will lead the design, deployment, and support of Azure Virtual Desktop environments for law firms and other professional services clients. You'll configure scalable virtual desktop infrastructures (VDI) that run smoothly across geographies, comply with security policies, and integrate with line-of-business applications.

 Expect deep hands-on work in Azure AD, FSLogix, Intune, Group Policy, and custom app delivery. You’ll work directly with client-side IT teams, often in regulated or high-uptime environments.

 This position requires candidates to work US Business hours - Approx 7:00PM - 3:30AM IST

CTC Budget for this role is - 30 LPA - 40LPA

What you’ll be responsible for

·         Architect and deploy Azure Virtual Desktop in multi-region environments

·         Build golden images using Azure Image Builder or third-party tools

·         Configure FSLogix, profile containers, and storage options (e.g., Azure Files, Storage Blob)

·         Implement auto-scaling, load balancing, and host pool optimizations

·         Integrate AVD with Azure AD, Intune, Group Policy, and Conditional Access

·         Support identity federation, app virtualization, and legacy on-prem integrations

·         Document infrastructure, failover procedures, and client-specific customizations

Qualifications:

·         5+ years in cloud or systems engineering roles, with 2+ focused on AVD or Citrix

·         Deep experience configuring and troubleshooting AVD infrastructure

·         Strong knowledge of Azure AD, DNS, load balancing, and FSLogix

·         Hands-on experience deploying and optimizing multi-session Windows 10/11

·         Experience building ARM templates or using Terraform/Bicep for deployment automation

·         Comfortable interfacing with clients, project managers, and support teams

Nice to have

·         Experience migrating from Citrix or RDS to AVD

·         PowerShell scripting skills for session host automation and diagnostics

·         Experience with Nerdio Manager, Azure Lighthouse, or Windows 365

·         Certifications:

·         Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty

·         Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

·         Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
